10 Summer Special Delhi Street Food

Delhi, the capital city is surely a paradise for foodies. Delhi has a wide variety of Indian street food options available to satisfy everyone’s cravings. But since summer is already here we are here with the list of popular Delhi street food you must be missing this summer because of lockdown. And those who haven’t tried these things before put them in your street food bucket list and try once this lockdown thing is over.

1. Pyar Mohabbat Sharbat

In the Delhi heat what could be more refreshing than a sharbat. Pyar Mohabbat Sharbat is a special sharbat you can found in old Dilli. This drink is a perfect concoction of Roohafja, milk, watermelon chunks, ice, and of course lots of love.

2. Depaul’s Coffee

Beside the Janpath market lies Depaul’s coffee shop. This coffee shop has been in Delhi and in the heart of Delhites from long before CCD, Costa, Starbucks.

3. Kuremal Mohanlal Kulfiwale

Kuremal Mohanlal Kulfiwale’s kulfi has been in the heart of Delhiites for more than a century now. They have a variety of tempting flavors like sitafal, jamun, orange, mango, phalsa,  guava, kiwi, pomegranate, fig, and many more. But their specialty is stuffed real fruit kulfi. In stuffed fruit kulfi original fruit is scooped out and filled with rabri made from original fruit pulp, and then frozen.

4. Shikara Lovely Chuski

5. Natraj Dahi Bhalla Corner

On the opposite side of the famous Parathe wali Gali lies a hole in the wall. This hole in the wall is Natraj Dahi Bhalla Corner shop. No doubt, their bhallas swimming in cold curd with mint and tamarind chutney is one of the best Dahi Bhalla in Delhi. Apart from Dahi Bhalla their only other option Alu Tikki chaat is also a great treat to your taste buds.

6. Kulfi Faluda at Roshan Di Kufli

If you haven’t tried kulfi faluda at  Roshan Di Kulfi in Karol Bagh, you definitely need to try this summer. They have amazing kufli faluda flavors like Kesar Badam, Paan and Mango to satisfy your sweet tooth. They even have a sugar free version of this.

7. Rabri Faluda at Giani’s Di Hatti

9. Gur ka Sharbat

Gur ka sharbat is a famous drink in Chandni Chowk. Gur (jaggery) with its many benefits has always been a healthy alternative to refined sugar. Gur ka sharbat is a drink made by just mixing Gur and water. Although jaggery is not recommended in summers but chilled Gur ka sharbat can replenish your body in Delhi heat.

10. Banta

Wherever you are shopping in Delhi you can always find a Banta stall near you in summers. Banta is still the iconic cooler to beat the Delhi heat.
